Puerto de Mazarron, on the Costa Calida (warm coast) enjoys some of Spain’s best summer sunshine and warm winter weather, with an average of 320 sunny days a year. The numerous Blue Flag sandy beaches, where you can swim, snorkel, dive, fish or relax under the Spanish sun, are rarely crowded. The Spanish love to holiday here, enjoying the beautiful unspoilt and diverse countryside and the high standard of facilities.

Puerto has restaurants, tapas bars, entertainment bars, two museums, cultural activities, open air summer cinema, ten pin bowling, kart track, beach sports gymnasiums, sailing, boat rental and diving. Free beach concerts and beach sports are organized. We even have designated nudist beaches.

Bolnuevo

Bolnuevo village has a mile long stretch of sandy beach and is famous for its sandstone formations, known as the 'enchanted city´ The coastal path south of Bolnuevo brings you to a choice of bays, some designated for nudists, with a backdrop of scenic hills.

Camposol is in open countryside 15 minutes drive from beaches of Mazarron bay.

Camposol has restaurants, bars, bowling alley, banks, supermarkets, internet cafe, bodega, hair salon and a pay to use summertime pool with snack bar.

Camposol's health spa is a short stroll from villas Clasico 178 and Rebecca 122.

The health and beauty spa offers thermal treatments using water from the nearby natural spring. A range of health and beauty treatments is available, along with exercise facilities, an indoor and outdoor pool, relaxation areas, a bar and an upmarket restaurant.

Mazarron Country Club has a restaurant serving meals, drinks and tapas, a large free form pay-to-use pool, tennis courts and petanque pitches.

The Country Club has varied social activities including petanque, cookery classes, quiz nights, a library, organized walks, barbecues, and evening entertainment such as quizzes, bingo, dinners with live music etc.

Percheles Beach

About 10 minutes drive from Mazarron, Percheles is the best beach we have found locally. It has a sandy bay backed by hills and pine trees.

Sierra Espuña

Sierra Espuña National Park is a great location for a day out, with picturesque walks, barbecue areas, cycle tracks, snack huts, cafeteria and great views.

Drive up through Totana then uphill past orange and lemon groves, then uphill again passing acres of pine trees.

Mazarron pueblo, between Puerto de Mazarron and Camposol, has a daily indoor market, Saturday market, supermarkets, banks, bars, clubs and restaurants. 

Mazarron´s deserted mines

A walk round the deserted mines is enjoyable for all. Men enjoy being free to scrambe around the deserted works. Women enjoy the beauty and scenic views.

La Molinete: Mazarron´s hilltop watchtower

Mazarron has pleasant strolls uphill to the castle, old watch tower or the Jesus Christ monument which has superb views across the area. The small old part of the town has three interesting churches, cobbbled streets and a pleasant central square where you can enjoy a lunchtime drink with a dish of tapas.
